Quiet Weekend

The Man and I have been so busy for the last several weekends - I mean, every weekend for the last several months actually. From day trips to mini weekend trips to see family, to remodeling and then furniture shopping - we needed a living room suit for the newly finished basement, plus some odds and ends type furniture, we had been looking at dvd stands and tv stands as well.

I am so happy to be doing NOTHING this weekend. His mom was supposed to come visit us but well, she didn't want to drive here by herself (even though she has made the trip alone by car several times) and I was disappointed. However, this relaxing weekend was just what I needed so I'm kinda glad now that she didn't come this weekend.

The Man and I hung out last night and watched The Haunting in Connecticut and I gotta say - it was LAME but at least he and I watched a movie together ♥
