A Love for Horses

Miss. Independent wants a horse, she has for over a year now. I guess that's a common dream for most little girls.

It's gotten worse over the last few months - her friend has a pony, named Ponee - cute, huh?

I've tried to explain to her that horses take lots of work and they are expensive, especially if you have to board them, which we would since we don't have the room to have one here and her dad can't have one where he lives. Even the equestrian apparel that is needed can be very expensive.

I hope this need/want fades soon, I feel bad telling her 'no'
