All this economic horridness has me looking for the best way to save money on the bills that we will always have - the yearly garbage bill, vehicle insurance and life insurance.

Surprisingly, I found the best deals shopping for insurance online rather than looking around locally. I know that sounds bad but the insurance field is a very competitive field and I wanted the best possible prices - who doesn't?

I also found out that if I pay my garbage bill as soon as I receive it, instead of by the due date, which is sometime in March, they will give me a 10% discount!
