'Tis Baseball Season

Really, I am not a baseball fan but my grandmother is. Her birthday is in July and I'm seriously considering getting her one of those personalized baseball bats as a gift.

These days you can get anything personalized! Do you think that takes away from the 'specialness' of having something personalized in the first place?
