Family Without Family

Every Easter we go to my dad's to visit. Funny, it's just a tradition since he is really not religious and all of us are Pagan. It's just an excuse to visit I suppose.

Today we'll be going for lunch. The Man has to work, 9:30 - 6, so he won't be there, which sucks. Miss. Independent is at her dad's but luckily he and I at least compromised on this weekend and she'll be with me today. For a moment I thought we'd be visiting family sans the family!

The boys have been sick - well Mr. WildChild has had the runny nose/cough thing for about a week now and today Mr. No is really coughing and sneezing a lot. I hope they all get something and get over it before we leave for our Disney Vacation - that is coming up SOON!

Speaking of being sick, Miss. Independent came home with a note from school saying one of the kids in the elementary school building (she's in the kindergarten building) was diagnosed with Chicken Pox - GREAT! Symptoms can take up to 2 weeks to show - THAT would be my luck. Even though she and that kid are not even in the same building, they could be on the same bus - I have no idea...
