More Baby Excitement

Well, looks like I need to start looking for baby shower gifts now! A friend of my mom's, a girl she works with, is pregnant. Just found out around the holidays. She already has a son, Hunter, so this will be baby #2.

I know it's early but apparently her family is planning an early baby shower. I always though it was best to wait until much further along in the pregnancy to have a baby shower, just in case, well, you know, something (Gods forbid) happens to the baby. I looked through all the baby shower etiquette information I could find but didn't see anything definite on this matter.

Proper etiquette or not, I hope her family decides to hold off a bit.
